Ultra Tool and Manufacturing adds 2D laser system
Mazak Optiplex 3015 NEO
Ultra Tool and Manufacturing, a fabricator of customized precision parts and prototypes and precision metal stampings, has installed a Mazak Optiplex 3015 NEO 7kW at its facility in Germantown, Wis.
The 2D variable-beam fiber laser system offers high-speed cutting in a variety of metals. Beam shaping technology permits cutting of thick and thin materials with superior edge quality and improved piercing time, the manufacturer reports.
