Applied Robotics names Innovation Matrix as distributor

Applied Robotics Inc., a provider of automation end-of-arm tooling and connectivity systems in Glenville, N.Y., has signed Innovation Matrix Inc., a supplier of machine vision and motion software, hardware, and services in Los Altos, Calif., with branch offices and alliance partners in Taiwan, China, Korea, and Japan.

Jim Fitzgerald, vice president of Applied Robotics, said, "Innovation Matrix Inc. is well-respected and well-connected in the trans-Pacific automation industry," which will help extend the company's global reach into Japan and Taiwan.
