Software add-on creates arc welding trajectories

Dassault Systèmes offers the Delmia arc welding add-on for the V5 robotic system that allows for offline creation of arc welding trajectories and tasks in a 3-D environment.

The add-on integrates with Delmia’s robot task definition, allowing users to create arc welding process-specific task generation for the development of a complete robotic arc welding simulation with resource synchronization.

Through the robot, the add-on provides access to Delmia’s standard library of more than 700 robot models. Users can store best practices, automating much of the repetitive work involved with robot programming.
