Weld tip inspection system for robotic spot welding introduced

Orbitform Group has introduced the Weld Tip System (WTS) for robotic spot welding. The system inspects spot welding electrodes (tips) and helps ensure that face diameters and general appearance meet acceptance criteria.

Incorporating CURE® technology Concurrent Universal Recognition Engine memory processing architecture) and suitable for spot welding cells, the system is designed to monitor the welding process constantly. For traceability and tip management, the system can store images of inspected tips.
