The new Wilson Tapping Tool eliminates secondary threading operations. It is the fastest, most reliable tapping tool on the market – allowing fabricators to tap a threaded hole with every machine stroke (up to 200 holes per minute). Holes can be tapped flat or extruded for extra thickness.
Manufactured by DK Technologies, the Wilson Tapping Tool offers a wide range of user benefits not available with other tapping tools. Accurate threads can be produced at any programmed location on the sheet. Taps can be changed easily with no disassembly required. A built-in tapping fluid injection system is synchronized with the machine stroke to reduce wear and breakage and will enable tapping of up to 40,000 holes without refilling. External grease and oil ports make tool lubrication simple.
The Wilson Tapping Tool is available for most brands of turret style punch presses. Taps are available in both imperial and metric sizes.
