Filling 461,627 sq. ft. of booth space, the show attracted nearly 31,000 visitors from more than 75 countries, a 27 percent increase over the 2005 show, also held in Chicago. <description>General Sheet Metal Works, South Bend, Ind., has increased the size of its Tomah, Wis., plant from 22,500 sq. ft. to 45,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space.

The company says the additional capacity allows it to gain production efficiencies for current work and accommodate new business. The project includes new laser and press brake capacity, as well as expansion of the weld shop.
