ABB appoints head of Robot Products Group in U.S.

ABB, Auburn Hills, Mich., has announced the appointment of Joe Campbell as vice president of its U.S. Robot Products Group. In this position, he leads the sales, market development, technical support, and production delivery of the company’s robots in the U.S.

Campbell joined ABB Robotics in September 2008 as the vice president of sales and marketing. He is a 28-year veteran of the robotics industry, having held prominent positions with key robot manufacturers and system integrators, as well as with robotics-related consulting organizations in the engineering, strategic development, and marketing areas.

ABB provides power and automation technologies for utility and industrial customers. ABB Robotics supplies industrial robots, software, peripheral equipment, modular manufacturing cells, and service.
