Vacuum lifter designed to lift heavy pipe from top and prevent surface damage - TheFabricator

A new compact, below-the-hook vacuum lifter for pipe handling has been introduced by Anver Corp.

The VPFL series can be equipped with a custom pad attachment featuring a rugged foam pad mounted on a steel plate, which is bolted onto an all-welded frame. Designed to lift heavy pipe from the top and prevent damage to the surface, this compact lifter requires only 8 in. of headroom and is suitable for on-site and in-plant stacking and unloading of pipe or feeding machinery.

Available with capacities up to 2,000 lbs., the machine can be powered by compressed air or electricity. Standard features include a control valve with safety lock, high-capacity pump, gauges, air filters, and a sensor with an audiovisual alarm that activates in the event of a vacuum loss or if leakage of 10 percent occurs.
