Covered electrode welds nickel-copper alloys

Arcos Industries LLC offers 9N10, a covered electrode used primarily to weld nickel-copper alloys to themselves and to steel. It is also used for cladding steel joints with nickel-copper alloy and for surfacing steel with a nickel-copper weld metal.
The electrode, designed to provide corrosion resistance in harsh conditions, is available in diameters of 3/32 in., 1/8 in., 5/32 in., and 3/16 in. It welds base metals such as ASTM B127, B163, B164, and B165, and is suitable for welding in saltwater and reducing acid environments.
