ABB marks its 125th anniversary in Finland. Founded in 1889 in Helsinki by entrepreneur and inventor Gottfrid Strömberg, ABB Finland provides power transmission and distribution systems, building technology, sustainable transportation, renewable power, and industrial automation and marine systems. The company employs more than 5,000 people in 30 locations.

The ABB Group of companies operates in about 100 countries and employs about 145,000 people.
