System quickly removes spent waterjet abrasive

Barton Mines Co. offers the Barton Abrasive Removal Tool (BART), a portable abrasive removal system for the waterjet industry.
The system achieves removal rates of more than 2,000 lbs./hour. Powered by a common pressure washer, the stainless steel wand is designed to fit between the table slats and can be operated while the waterjet is running to help reduce downtime.
The tool can be used on multiple machines. It eliminates the need for shoveling and pumping and removes the spent media quickly, the company reports.
