Bosch Rexroth names PLC, HMI product manager

The Electric Drives and Controls technology group of Bosch Rexroth Corp., Hoffman Estates, Ill., recently appointed Ted Thayer as programmable logic control and human-machine interface (HMI) product manager.

Thayer is responsible for new programmable logic control and HMI product releases, developing and maintaining customer and partner relationships, and implementing various programmable logic control training initiatives. Before joining the company, he supervised the Technical Assistance Center at Mitsubishi Electric Automation. He has an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering technology from Northern Illinois University. He is also a graduate of DeviceNet University.
