Bystronic Inc.'s waterjet cutting system, Byjet, is an abrasive, cold-cutting system that produces clean, burr-free cutting edges. The system cuts a variety of flat sheet, tubular, and profiled materials without heat-induced structural changes. Optional rotary axis and shuttle table are available.
AC direct drives provide positioning accuracy at high acceleration rates. A high-precision cutting head enhances precision and ensures optimal abrasive flow, the company reports.
