Carell Corp. has introduced a new lower-profile design on its 4-, 5-, and 6-in.-capacity angle rolls. The new design gives operators a more direct line of site to the material during rolling, which can eliminate the need for a pit in many circumstances.
The machines employ independent hydraulic drives direct-coupled to each of the three roll shafts. This eliminates gears, which helps reduce maintenance and increase efficiency, the company states.
