Medium-duty reel designed for handling heavy coils in widths from 12 to 36 in.

Coe has developed a 10,000-lb. series coil reel to fill the gap between small- and large-capacity reels. Designed to serve press lines handling heavy coils in narrow widths from 12 to 36 in., the reel can handle a variety of material thicknesses.
The reel can be combined with a traveling coil car to provide a modular system that operates with the manufacturer's other servo roll power and feed straighteners.
The new reel can be configured to work in a pulloff application with power straighteners and roll forming equipment or provided as a motorized payoff reel with a built-in drive mechanism.
