Cotton buffing wheel produces high mirror finish on metals

CS Unitec has introduced the CS 2410 cotton buffing wheel. Designed for use with polishing compounds, pastes, and rouges, the wheel produces a bright, high-mirror finish on stainless steel and other nonferrous metals. The wheel, made of cotton yarn, measures 3.5 in. dia. by 4 in. wide. It is suitable for use on flat, contoured, and irregular surfaces.

The hollow-core wheel is designed for use with the company's PTX Eco Smart Professional surface finishing machine. Its patented abrasive mounting system allows all grinding/polishing wheels to be changed in seconds, without tools or hardware, the company reports.
