Band saw cuts round or square materials up to 21 in. in diameter

DoALL Sawing Products offers model CP-21A, the first in a new line of high-production, dual-column band sawing machines. The band saw has a 2-in. blade and a 10-HP AC inverter band drive system with variable speeds from 40 to 360 FPM for cutting a range of materials up to 21 in. in diameter, round or square.

Features include an NC with 12-in. color touchscreen, a split-front vise with dual-range vise clamping to allow higher clamp forces for large workpieces, a floating-style index assembly with incremental index capability, and a head design that is tilted back 30 degrees to minimize band twist and reduce band fatigue.

A quick-start feature minimizes setup time by allowing automatic setting of band speed and feed rates based on material type. A 36-in.-high chip auger discharge chute permits the use of a 55-gal. drum for chip collection. Coolant and hydraulic systems are easily accessible.
