Dayton's combination belt and disk finishing machines are suitable for grinding, sanding, polishing, deburring, and finishing on metal and other materials. The machines have a capacitor motor that supplies the current required during start-up and running under load to support better finished parts and operator safety. The belt section can be positioned vertically or horizontally.
The heavy-duty #6Y945 bench model uses a 2- by 42-in. or 1- by 42-in. abrasive belt and a 6-in. abrasive disk. The #2PA29 floor model uses a 6- by 48-in. abrasive belt and a 9-in. abrasive disk.
