Die grinders designed for extended reach

Extension die grinders from Dynabrade Inc. are designed to work in long pipes, castings, and other locations requiring extended reach.

Available as 3,400- and 18,000-RPM models, the 1-HP straight-line air tools have a rear-exhaust air motor. Three lengths are available: 19¾ in., 28 1/8 in., and 36½ in. Constructed of steel for optimal durability and designed for minimal vibration, the grinders do not spin during tool use, eliminating the need for continuous tightening.

The grinders run at 82 dB(A) for reduced noise. A safety-lock lever prevents accidental start-up of the tool.

An optional overhose assembly is designed to reduce noise levels by up to 5 dB(A). The overhose also directs exhaust away from the operator and the workpiece. Other options include buffing pads, collets, inserts, and cone/plug wheels.
