STLE names award winner

John Burke, the director of engineering services for Houghton Intl., Valley Forge, Pa., has received the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers' (STLE) PM Ku award. Named after the late PM Ku, the award recognizes members who have performed extensive, dedicated service to the society.
Burke has contributed to the STLE technical program; instructed metalworking education courses; and chaired the Metalworking Certification Committee, which founded the industry's first certification program in the metalworking fluids management field.
