Oxygen plasma system introduced

Hypertherm Inc. has announced the release of HySpeed Plasma HSD130, a easy-to-use, mechanized, oxygen plasma system.
The system includes the company's patented LongLife® technology, designed to deliver double the consumable life at half the cost, the company says.
Recommended for small- to medium-sized companies, the system cuts dross-free at 5/8 in. (16mm) on mild steel. Production pierce capability is 1 in. (25mm), with maximum cutting at 1 in. (38mm).
