Fully integrated CO2 lasers introduced

Synrad Inc. has introduced the Firestar f400 and the Firestar f201 fully integrated laser systems for metal cutting, welding, and other industrial applications.
The systems' footprints allow mounting on robotic arms or integration into existing flatbed cutting systems. They feature a sealed-tube design, built-in RF excitation, and integral gas purge. They also feature internal optical conditioning that delivers optimal beams in both the near and far fields, the company says.
