Products control fire risk in weld fume extraction systems

Lincoln Electric offers Guardian™ products to help reduce the risk of fires in welding fume extraction filter systems. Early detection and suppression are initiated in the event of a fire to minimize the fire hazard, to limit the system damages, and to avoid the risk of escalation and accumulation of smoke in manufacturing environments.

A team from the company can review and determine how to control the fire risk in a customer's workplace, and then design a system tailored to the application and requirements.

The products are divided into three categories: fire prevention (including a spark arrester and a limestone feeding unit that decreases oil combustibility), fire detection, and fire suppression (including an aerosol extinguishing canister).
