OEE module for CAD/CAM software examines, reports on equipment productivity and performance

LVD Strippit has added an overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) module to its CADMAN® family of offline software. The module examines and reports on equipment productivity and performance; provides analysis in simple graphical charts; presents real shop floor information; and monitors machine availability, performance, and quality.
The offline, PC-based CAD/CAM system is designed to streamline the fabricating process through a single, complete system for the design, unfolding, punching, laser cutting, and bending of sheet metal parts.
