United Performance Metals earns nonconventional machining NADCAP approval

The laser cutting facility installed early in 2011 at United Performance Metals, Hamilton, Ohio, recently was audited and certified in accordance with the requirements of the National Aerospace Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP). NADCAP is an accreditation organization that represents major suppliers, prime contractors, and government agencies in primarily the aerospace and defense sectors. The accreditation is in accordance with SAE Aerospace Standard AS7003 for nonconventional machining using a laser beam.
