Resistance welding inverters features quick rise times

The ISA-4000CR large-scale inverter for resistance welding, from Miyachi Unitek Corp., can produce 4,000 amps primary. It has five feedback modes, NEMA-style enclosure, built-in weld monitoring, a communications package, and a force control option. It also has fast rise times and high output stability, the company reports.
The company says the weld control is designed to address the increasing demand for projection welding.
