M.K. Morse names director of supply chain management

The M.K. Morse Co., Canton, Ohio, a manufacturer of saw blades, has promoted John Sweeney to director of supply chain management. He directs the recently organized Supply Chain Management Group, which consists of multiple departments that bring together demand planning, procurement, quality, transportation, and inventory control into one area of responsibility that can monitor the supply chain and implement improvements.
Since joining the company in 2004, Sweeney has contributed to multiple projects, including continual quality improvement procedures for all products manufactured in Canton, as well as numerous global business considerations.
