OMAX Corp., ICAM collaborate on multiple CAM interfaces

OMAX® Corp., Kent, Wash., and ICAM Technologies Corp., Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, are working together to provide manufacturers with NC postprocessing software that connects OMAX and MAXIEM® abrasive waterjet machines with all major CAD/CAM systems.
The combination of OMAX's Intelli-MAX® waterjet system control software with advanced NC postprocessors from ICAM will allow OMAX and MAXIEM system users to program complex, multiaxis tool paths while achieving high speed and accuracy, the company reports. Operators can program multiprocess tool paths within a single CAD/CAM system.
