Congressman Bob Goodlatte visits OFR Metals

O’Neal Flat Rolled Metals (OFR Metals), Brighton, Colo., welcomed U.S. Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., to its Lynchburg, Va., facility Jan. 28. The congressman received a tour of the 135,000-sq.-ft. metal processing facility that processes carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum flat-rolled products for manufacturers throughout Virginia and bordering states.

Goodlatte had the opportunity to hear questions and concerns about manufacturing in the U.S. and addressed some of these concerns by saying, "We must ensure that we are a nation where manufacturing will continue to thrive in order to create jobs and get our economy back on track. It is critical that the federal government promote policies that encourage innovation and allow companies to compete in the global economy."
