Hypertherm introduces on-site training programs for plasma products
- September 18, 2014
- News Release
- Plasma Cutting
Hypertherm, a manufacturer of plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting systems in Hanover, N.H., has announced two new training programs for customers who use its Built for Business Integrated Cutting Solutions plasma products. These products include HyPerformance plasma, EDGE Pro or MicroEDGE Pro CNC, ArcGlide THC, and ProNest software.
The first training is designed to provide a solid framework for machine operators. The program covers everything from loading a part program into a CNC to cutting a part on a plasma cutting table. Operators learn about system setup and operation, consumable selection and optimization, gas selection, operator-level maintenance, and troubleshooting.
The second training, designed for service and maintenance personnel, covers troubleshooting, periodic maintenance, and repair issues. Maintenance workers learn how to perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance jobs.
The training is conducted by one of the company’s technical engineers in the user’s places of business. Each training lasts about 8 hours. Both training programs can be modified to accommodate different factors such as experience level and business needs. More information is available at www.hypertherm.com/on-site_training.
