Praxair acquires Weldco

Praxair Inc., a provider of industrial gases in Danbury, Conn., has acquired the assets of Weldco Inc., Cincinnati. Weldco, which employs 23 people, has sales of $8 million.
The acquisition gives Praxair a stronger presence in southwestern Ohio and northeastern Kentucky.
