Prima Industrie purchases Finn-Power

Prima Industrie S.p.A, Italy, has purchased Finn-Power Group, Finland, from EQT III, a European private equity group that acquired Finn-Power in May 2002 from the founder of the company.
Prima is a supplier of high-power laser systems for cutting, welding, and drilling of 3-D and 2-D parts. Finn-Power develops and manufactures flexible and automated sheet metal working machines and manufacturing systems. The company focuses on R&D, market presence, services, strategic assembly, and system installations.
