Turnkey laser system delivered with choice of industrial Nd: YAG, CO2, or fiber laser

Prima North America Inc. has introduced the Laserdyne 430 three-axis laser system designed for precision cutting, welding, and drilling of 2-D and 3-D components. The system is currently available with a fourth rotary/circular axis option, and a fifth tilt axis will be available in 2011.

The machine operates at speeds up to 800 IPM in the X, Y, and Z axes with bidirectional accuracy of 0.0005 in. This accuracy is throughout the system's 23.62- by 15.75- by 19.69-in. work envelope.

The system features the S94P controller, breakthrough detection, and automatic focus control. It is delivered as a turnkey system with a choice of industrial Nd:YAG, CO2, and fiber lasers.
