Air filtration system automatically adjusts to compensate for filter loading

RoboVent has introduced the eDrive system, which uses a sensor to constantly monitor the airflow through an air filtration unit. Using a variable-frequency drive, the system automatically adjusts the motor's RPM to compensate for filter loading.
According to the manufacturer, the system can help even out energy peaks and valleys, saving 20 to 30 percent of energy and helping to extend filter life as much as 30 percent.
