America in Recovery website connects companies with ex-offender potential employees

Houston-based charity America in Recovery, created by Larry Keast, president and CEO of Venturetech, a manufacturer of heavy equipment for the oil industry, has announced the launch of a website to connect companies with potential employees who need a second chance after legal mistakes landed them in trouble.

Companies looking for workers, and workers looking for a second chance, can register free of charge.

The charity is accepting donations to help fund the nationwide website and the charity’s expanding mission, including awarding college scholarships to students from high-risk environments in four Houston-area school districts.
