CNH Industrial's North American plant achieves silver status for world-class manufacturing

The CNH Industrial N.V. plant in Saskatoon, Sask., has been awarded silver status for implementing world-class manufacturing (WCM). The plant, which produces equipment for the company's agricultural equipment brands, Case IH and New Holland Agriculture, is the first North American CNH Industrial facility to receive a silver WCM designation.

The facility earned the status seven years after initially implementing the WCM program, which measures technical and managerial standards, including safety, cost, environment, quality, and process. WCM is a system based on continuous improvement, designed to eliminate waste and loss from the production process. This integrated model for managing all elements of an organization focuses on improving the efficiency of a company's technical and organizational components while maximizing market competitiveness.
