EVS Metal gains ITAR certification for New Hampshire facility

EVS Metal Inc., a provider of sheet metal fabrication, machining, and integration, has announced that its Keene, N.H., facility has earned International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) certification from the U.S. State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). This certification allows EVS to operate as a manufacturer of defense articles for the federal government.

Enacted in 1976 during the Cold War, ITAR primarily is a means to provide the U.S. government with necessary information on which companies are involved with certain manufacturing and exporting activities.
