Fiber laser marker converts high pulse frequencies into short marking processes

The TruMark 5020 fiber laser marker from TRUMPF Inc. offers high pulse frequencies and pulse-to-pulse stability for metal applications that require high speed and a high edge quality.

The unit’s scanner module converts pulse frequencies of up to 1 mHz into a correspondingly high processing speed. In turn, thanks to Master Oscillator Fiber Power Amplifier (MOFPA) technology, the pulse duration can be adjusted so that laser processing is adapted to the application. In addition, the laser’s focus point adjusts to the different component heights. The laser delivers customized marking or engraving in short process times.

A fiber protection hose with a mechanical lock prevents the laser beam from discharging between two marking procedures. The scanner, laser head, and power supply unit are connected via plug-in connectors, allowing the marking laser to be integrated into existing production systems.
