NAPW names WestWind Corp. purchasing manager as 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

The National Association of Professional Women, Garden City, N.Y., has named Susan A. Willis, purchasing manager at WestWind Corp., Huntsville, Ala., as the 2014 Professional Woman of the Year for her leadership in business.

Willis uses her expansive knowledge of the defense industry in her role at WestWind, a provider of aircraft modification, cable harnessing, and metal fabrication, along with her leadership skills and tireless work ethic.

Willis began her career at Chrysler as an administrative assistant to the president, then became senior buyer in the purchasing department before joining WestWind. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Jacksonville State University.
