Solar Atmospheres adds vacuum furnace

Solar Atmospheres of Western Pennsylvania has added a third 24-ft. 75,000 lb. capacity furnace, which is being constructed onsite by Solar Manufacturing. The Hermitage, Pa., plant specializes in vacuum heat treating and brazing.
In 2006 the company added 16,000 square feet of floor space and its second 24-ft. furnace, which now if fully operational.
