Laser cutter enclosure enhanced

TRUMPF Inc. has released a new enclosure for its laser cutting machines that the company says is 75 percent smaller in size than conventional enclosures.
The enclosure features an ergonomic design that facilitates material exchange and allows for fast installation and easy accessibility. A freestanding control is offered, similar to that on the company's punching machines.
The enclosure is currently available in a 4- by 10-ft. version, with 5- by 10-ft. and 4- by 8-ft. sizes available in the future.
