United Performance Metals names western regional branch manager

United Performance Metals, a Hamilton, Ohio-based supplier of specialty stainless and high-temperature alloy sheet and coil, has promoted Chris Weber to the position of western regional branch manager.

Weber has been working as the western regional manager for almost two years, recently playing an instrumental part in the company's expansion into a new, 65,000-sq.-ft. facility. He has spent 25 years in the metals industry in the positions of regional product manager, western region distribution manager, and inside sales manager.

In his new role, Weber's responsibilities include managing the sales and warehouse staff of UPM's La Mirada, Calif., branch office, managing inventory and equipment within the plant, and developing new customers while maintaining and growing current customers in the California region.
