Universal Tube opens division company

Universal Tube & Rollform Equipment, Perrysburg, Ohio, has announced the opening of another division company, Universal Controls Group USA, which specializes in mill control systems.
Universal Controls has built multimotor drive systems exceeding 1,000 HP. The drives are self-contained, eliminating the need for multicabinet systems. Company President Ken Metzger has developed a closed-loop length control system that utilizes standard purchased parts with the goal to become the standard for die accelerators and length control systems.
