WARDJet's ZX-2546 waterjet cutting machine has an extended tank and cross-beam design to enable triple-head cutting while allowing for single-head cutting of a full 8- by 12-ft. sheet. Each of the three heads is controlled independently by its own AC servomotor. This allows for independent movement and simplified setup for mirror cutting.
The machine was designed for a customer, with modifications made to the existing design of the high-pressure lines and power cables to accommodate two more servomotors on the Z carriages.
