Flow Intl. to host inventor of abrasive waterjet at IMTS

Flow Intl. Corp., Kent, Wash., a manufacturer of industrial waterjet machines for cutting and cleaning applications, will host a meet and greet with Dr. Mohamed Hashish, the inventor of abrasive waterjet technology, on Sept. 9 at its booth at IMTS, held at McCormick Place in Chicago. Hashish will participate in two technology presentations, with time for questions and answers.

According to the company, Hashish, one of the original scientists of Flow Research (now Flow Intl. Corp.), has been involved in every major waterjet invention for the past four decades. These include challenging pressure barriers up to 100,000 PSI and developing Dynamic Waterjet® and Dynamic XD.
