This article examines two transitions that are occurring in the automotive industry—the change from stamping to hydroforming, and the substitution of aluminum where steel was used previously.
Compared to conventional laser processing machines, the OPTIPLEX Fiber significantly increases the productivity of thin worksheet cutting with impressive accuracy and cuts up to 0.875” in CRS. The laser is designed to process reflective materials with greater thicknesses and at greater speeds than its CO2 counterpart.
