Among the factors that contribute to the fatigue life of waterjet-cut parts are part geometry, cutting method, and finish. Properly designing parts, using the optimal cutting quality for the part, and choosing the best finishing process can increase fatigue resistance significantly.
Compared to conventional laser processing machines, the OPTIPLEX Fiber significantly increases the productivity of thin worksheet cutting with impressive accuracy and cuts up to 0.875” in CRS. The laser is designed to process reflective materials with greater thicknesses and at greater speeds than its CO2 counterpart.
