Dr. Ahmetoglu received his master of science degree from the University of Michigan in 1987 and his Ph.D. degree from the Ohio State University in 1993. He worked at the Engineering Research Center for Net Shape Manufacturing at the Ohio State University for six years before joining Hydro Automotive Structures in 1999. He has been involved in numerous product and process development projects utilizing various materials. In addition, Ahmetoglu is an expert in process design for sheet metal forming, stamping, and tube hydroforming. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles in journals and conference proceedings. He is an active member of North American Deep Drawing Research Group (NADDRG), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE).
