This event has already passed.

Here is a list of current events.

IHEA’s 2015 Fall Business Conference will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, September 1 & 2 at the Hilton Columbus Downtown following the IHEA fall seminars in Columbus, Ohio. The association holds this conference each fall for the purpose of bringing IHEA member company representatives together for committee meetings and key informational presentations on issues important to members. The content is always enlightening and the networking is invaluable.

This year attendees will hear from IHEA President, B.J. Bernard and Executive Vice President, Anne Goyer about the exciting new event that IHEA will sponsor in 2016, ITPS Americas. Also on the program will be a presentation about the latest trend in manufacturing training called makerspaces. Chief Operating Officer at the Columbus Idea Foundry, Casey McCarty, will provide some background and highlights of this new training initiative. A representative from the U.S. Department of Energy will discuss new opportunities for working with the DOE and ways IHEA can be involved in upcoming projects. IHEA is also happy to announce that Michael Collins of MPC Management will present, “What to Know to Grow,” a presentation that highlights several ways to evaluate your company’s needs in order to choose the right strategy and offer apprenticeships to bring in young talent to help grow your company.

Along with the informative presentations and committee work, there will be a networking event at the Columbus Clippers baseball game on Tuesday evening, Sept. 1st. Just a short distance from the hotel, guests will be treated to a private picnic area at Huntington Park to enjoy dinner and socialize before the game. This promises to be a great time to catch up with colleagues, meet new members and take in America’s favorite pastime.
