Where technology educators and manufacturers collaborate to close the skills gap!

The theme of FMA's 2015 T.E.A.M. Summit, now in its fourth year, is Thinking Outside the Box. Summit attendees will take a look at non-traditional ways of inspiring, motivating, training and retaining a skilled workforce. The program will look at ways to engage a new generation of potential employees as well as ways to keep current employees motivated - no matter what their age. The program will explore what is being done outside the manufacturing sector in other types of companies that also are dependent on middle to high technical skill workers.

The program offers a mix of presentation, roundtable discussion, and panels to keep the pace fast and the interaction level high. This is definitely NOT a program where you can be content to sit back and listen. Sharing both challenges and successes with peers from around the country who face the same human resource issues you do guarantees that you will leave with a list of ideas you can implement as soon as you return to your company or your educational institution. You'll also learn techniques for more effective collaborations between the employer and the educational institutions that prepare employees.
